[edit]Google searches are unlikely to reveal much about this organisation, other than its presence at the enquiry into the Titanic disaster. It was important at the time, however. I could have written more, based on primary sources but have stuck to things which can be found in such sources as Marsh and Ryan's 'The Seamen' and Coates & Topham's 'Making of the Labour Movement'.
I hope to convert many of the red entries to blue ones in due course. Feedback would be much appreciated. I'm well-meaning but new to this, so please be gentle!
