"Kbot" is the acronym for Kinetic Bio-Organic Technology/Tissue.

Kbot - Fictional mechanical vehicle, piloted either by an integral pattern (Core) or by a clone (Arm). There are many different Kbots.
For example there is the Construction-Kbot (see image), which builds new Kbots and factories with a Jet which contains energy and metal. The Construction-Kbot supports Kbot-factories to produce new Kbots and converts destroyed Kbots into usable metal (recycling) and repairs damaged Kbots and factories, too.

Derivation: The computer game Total Annihilation.

Total Annihilation: Short for Blue Laser of Death. A high-powered, long-range, typically high-priced laser that inflicts nearly instant damage upon a single victim. Units equipped with BLoDs include the Arm "Penetrator", the Core "Krogoth", the Core "Doomsday Machine", and the Arm "Annihilator".
