User talk:Amatern
Hi there!
Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for being the first brave soul to sign our new introductions page. <smile> I hope you'll like it here and decide to stay.
If you need editing help, visit Wikipedia:How does one edit a page. For format questions, visit our manual of style. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump.
If you're interested in any specific areas of Wikipedia (like biology, computing, literature, or mathematics, you might want to check out the Wikiproject pages. These exist to help coordinate people working in the same subject area. I know there's an active WikiProject Mathematics that can always use more help, and that might fit your interests.
If you're looking for a quick job to start off, you could do me a personal favor by adding a bibliography and maybe a little more literary analysis to Archibald MacLeish. I wrote his biography but don't know much about literature.
People are generally friendly here, but if there are any questions you don't want to ask in a public forum, just drop a note on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I see it.
Happy editing, Isomorphic 19:39, 17 Feb 2004 (UTC)
