Blalock–Taussig shunt → Blalock–Thomas–Taussig shunt – This surgical method has been renamed the "Blalock-Thomas-Taussig shunt" in order to give credit to Vivien Thomas, a key inventor of the method who was not previously given credit. This change has been reflected in the article itself but not the title of the article. Mch232823 (talk) 22:32, 26 May 2021 (UTC) —Relisting. No such user (talk) 14:22, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). wbm1058 (talk) 16:26, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- The cited references refer to this as "The Blalock-Taussig shunt" or "Blalock and Taussig shunt". Can references be added that refer to it by the proposed name? wbm1058 (talk) 16:26, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Also the MOS–en dash folks are probably gonna want to use those instead of hyphens. wbm1058 (talk) 16:31, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Comment - I'm not the nominator, but I updated the request with the correct dash per MOS:DASH. Paintspot Infez (talk) 00:14, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
