Talk:Glenn Ponder
Could be improved if anyone can go through the episodes and add all 6 (maybe 7 including Knowing Me Knowing Yule) band names, such as Lazarus, Debonair, Savois Faire etc.
Glen Ponder
[edit]This page needs to be moved. The correct spelling is clearly Glen Ponder (with one n in Glen), as in one episode Alan Partridge points out that it is an anagram of "Porn Legend". Pedantic, but true :) The BBC website is inconsistent - see [1] where it uses both spellings, but only the "Glen" spelling works with the anagram.
Glenn Ponder
[edit]The BBC website may be inconsistent, but the programme's credits are not. The screenshot below clearly shows "Glenn Ponder" with two Ns. I think "porn legend" is meant as a joke to show Partridge's lack of intelligence.

Apparently the anagram idea wasn't intended, and it was only in writing the final episode that they realised it was possible. However, I would say the credits are right, as it was a guest that contributed the anagram, who probably didn't know his name was spelled with two 'n's. 144.32.130.63 15:37, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
tinny synthesizer?!?!? - The Korg M1, hardly a 'tinny' synthesizer, especially in 1995.
