On 21 October 2020, it was proposed that this article be moved from Torness Nuclear Power Station to Torness nuclear power station. The result of the discussion was moved.

Commencment of Construction

I have no idea where the 1971 date came from? This can not be correct since:-

Tony Benn inaurgiated the construction as Energy Minister in 1978.
As the article states SSEB were undertaking exhibitions, etc. as a prelude to getting permission for construction in the mid 1970's.
