The Wall
[edit]The article had the sentence:
- "Due to a lawsuit between Gilmour and Roger Waters, there are no songs from The Wall on the album."
However, as can be seen, the album did have songs from The Wall. Therefore, I am removing the statement. RedWolf 05:45, Feb 18, 2004 (UTC)
- Yeah... I only have the movie version, and it doesn't have any. Forgot to remove it when I put the CD track list up. - Fizscy46 20:49, 18 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Even the movie version has songs from The Wall--Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell. 71.170.115.183 (talk) 03:30, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Fixed the track-order for Disc II; my family owns a copy. --Duneflower, resident weirdo (talk) 13:16, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- My family does too. FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 13:38, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Billboard CD chart
[edit]The Billboard CD chart entry was removed by an anon IP who gave this summary: "'CD chart'? The Billboard 200 IS the American CD chart". I've reverted because it would seem likely that back in 1988, the Billboard 200 would be for vinyl albums, or a combination of all album formats, and there was likely a second chart for CDs back then. Furthermore, this kind of chart breakdown is found all through Wikipedia on articles about albums, not to mention many other Pink Floyd albums. To change just one suggests it was an impulsive change.
I would recommend that before re-entering the change, or making the same change to other articles, we should establish whether or not there was a CD chart in the 1980s, and see if we can find a link or citation to it. It seems very likely the info is correct. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 14:21, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
What is "Concept of Reality"?
[edit]I'm kind of a Pink Floyd buff.. but I've never heard of this. Google doesn't bring back any results.
Is "Concept of Reality" even a Pink Floyd song? Why is it mentioned in this article? Crk112 (talk) 23:10, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
I'm a HUGE Pink Floyd buff and I've never heard of it either. It's unsourced material anyhow, so it really has no place in the article. I'm yanking it! 71.170.115.183 (talk) 03:22, 12 August 2011 (UTC) (Tr1Xen)
Margaret Taylor
[edit]The link in the article leads to someone completely different, i.e. Zachary Taylor's (former US President) wife. Margaret Taylor who sang (3rd female vocalist) on this performace (her real name is Machan Taylor) is someone completely different. Needs fixing. Machan also should have her own Wikipedia bio page, but that's another story. JeffTracy (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:00, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Recording Dates
[edit]This article makes it seem like different recording dates were used for the CD and vinyl/cassette editions of the album. Having owned both the CD and Cassette for a long time, I've never noticed even a note of difference between the performances. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:1970:57E8:2300:A1F0:AFAD:FABD:521C (talk) 00:26, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- The article cites no sources for the recording dates. They should be removed if no reliable source can be found. – Dyolf87 (talk) 22:59, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
Another Brick sampling 1989?
[edit]I've seen the claim that the sampling of the "Hey Teacher" was used on the 1989 shows a few times but no live videos I could find support this claim. It seems that David dubbed this in, in 2019, to obscure Guy's bass solo. What do other people think? Jules TH 16 (talk) 22:02, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Also, upon comparisons between 1988 and 2019 mixes, somebody noticed "mysterious third guitar" in Wish You Were Here missing. Is it possible that there was a mistake in the statement that the acoustic guitar was overdubbed on Comfortably Numb? Jules TH 16 (talk) 22:04, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
