Eugene Field II?

Apparently Eugene Jr. was a famous signature forger. Watching an episode of History Detectives right now, talking about some Abraham Lincoln signatures he forged in the late 1920s and early 1930s. I deleted the following paragraph from the Legacy section because it doesn't appear to fit (e.g., it's not a famous saying that people quote a lot). In case anyone disagrees, or can make it work better in a different section of the article, I'm putting it here:
