[edit]How was the song used for the marketing of Windows 95? I don't remember it being in any ads or anything like that. --Darkdan 02:47, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

Okay, I have no idea where people are pulling her age from, but she is not 35. http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20142679,00.html She has to be pushing 50. 152.33.62.217 (talk) 20:29, 10 January 2009 (UTC) (Thorns among our leaves). Removing the birthday until someone can prove otherwise.
Should it be mentioned that she performed "I love you always forever" in the closing ceremony of the 1998 Commonwealth Games? 92.3.235.114 (talk) 00:14, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Her correct birth year is 1959. This has been corrected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.3.92.237 (talk) 09:49, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
Donna Lewis was born in 1959 -- do not go by the official atlantic records biography on her that appears on All Music, this is incorrect. If anyone has any questions, just email Donna's personal website and her management will confirm this information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.3.92.237 (talk) 16:06, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
The birth year information had been reverted again to "1973" by an IP user without any comment. As far as I can see, the state of affairs can only be summarised by saying that there are conflicting accounts from reliable sources regarding Lewis' birth date. (These sources are the People Magazine article, versus the "official" biographies presumably written by her music company.) Recall Wikipedia's policies on Verifiability and No Original Research. To quote the former: "When reliable sources disagree, maintain a neutral point of view and present what the various sources say, giving each side its due weight." This is what I have done in the latest version of the article. To "email Donna's personal website and her management", as suggested above, would violate the No Original Research policy.
Anyone who reverts my edit, by giving either 1973 or 1959 as the undisputed birth year, should provide substantial new evidence (for instance a reliable source presenting a copy of Lewis' birth certificate).Cryoweta (talk) 08:33, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
This looks like her entry in the government Birth Register. Births registered in the third quarter of 1959 ie July, August, September. Clearly Atlantic Records are not a reliable source. And to claim that People Magazine, for instance, is a reliable source whereas the subject of their false claim isn't, is Wikipedia at it's most laughable. -- John (Daytona2 · Talk · Contribs) 15:04, 23 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]This article forgets that Shakin Stevens is a Welsh singer and had a number one in 1985. The Bonnie Tyler fact is incorrect. Jamesjamesclub (talk) 08:37, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
