Comment
[edit]This article briefly had the correct title, KYW. It was then moved to KYW (AM), which was not arguably incorrect, leaving a disambiguation page behind. Then someone moved it to the current title, which is clearly wrong. It should be moved back to one of its (correct) previous titles. 18.26.0.18 00:30, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
As a Philadelphian, I personally think the disambiguation is a good idea. It's true the radio station and the TV station are one in the same, however, outside the area, many may not know this.
And I can't believe someone didn't know what the callsign meant. --DodgerOfZion 06:55, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
K call letter
[edit]Why does this station have a K call latter. Why not W? It started out in Chicago which is also east of the Mississippi so even there it should've had a W call letter 63.26.64.3 (talk) 03:51, 1 July 2008 (UTC)eric
Proposed move
[edit]KYW (AM) appears to be the correct name based on the FCC database. This is the dab format where KYW-AM would be used if that was the FCC assigned name. I don't like this distinction, but that is the current policy. Vegaswikian 20:01, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- Move - I think all articles shoule be consistant in naming. Travel Plaza Babes 16:39, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Logo
[edit]Where did the logo in the infobox come from? The station website shows a different logo.Rudy2alan 18:52, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
