Fair use rationale for Image:Mitrescola.jpg
[edit]Image:Mitrescola.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

'Critiques on Homosexuality and Feminism'
[edit]I'm curious why a book review is used to list Scola's views on multiple issues; I'm assuming no one's actually read his book? It seems inappropriately marginalizing to list his views on several complicated and controversial issues with a one-off list:
- about Scola's "condemnation not only of abortion and of genetic engineering, and of birth control, but also of feminism, of homosexuality, and of cultural traits Scola associates with feminism and homosexuality, namely individualism, libertinism, relativism, narcissism, and even nihilism.
I count ten separate issues which we're given to think Scola rattles off a blanket anathema to, with only the reviewer's one-sentence impression of Scola's arguments or thought processes regarding these. I'm new to comments and edits, so I don't know that it violates any WP standards, but it seems unfair at this point. Hopefully, or perhaps if he's elected, this section will be fleshed out as Benedict XVI's is.

- IMHO this section shall either be removed or be integrated by more and different analysis on Scola's though, because the opinion of a blogger, even if in a important blog, doesn't reflect nor the actual ideas of Scola nor the scholars' consensus on such matter. POV Check on "Critiques"
[edit]The claim that a certain scholar (Johnson, in this case) "has rejected various Catholic Church teachings in favor of his own personal views and has often mischaracterized those teachings while promoting his own" is a deep theological claim, likely to be heavily disputed. Among Catholic scholars, in particular, whether a particular statement constitutes a rejection of Church teaching can be (and often is) hotly disputed.
This judgment should either be removed or ascribed to a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.230.42.38 (talk) 17:28, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
