Talk:Watermarking
Watermarking is the art of hiding information on the internet and still keep it from public view. This is an actual software, or HTML or JAVA can do it. If you keep it hidden, only a certain sequence, code, password. software, all of the above, or some of the above. It's really complicated, but the internet is the best and the worst place to hide things. If anyone happens to come across a link in the page you created to hide it, then they could think something suspicious. If they do, there's a possibility that they will look into it. But if you do it right, no one will ever kniow where you put it, how it got there, why it's where it is,or anything else.
One other thing about watermarking. Another name for it is Steganography. I'm not too sure why it's called watermarking OR steganography, but it's called those things. Steganography is nothing more than watermarking as an art. Watermarking is more of the common name, but steganography is the official name.
