I am a British expat, with broad interests that cover literature, history, computer hardware and software, comics, animation, music, sculpture, comparative philosophy, etymology, illustration, graphic design and film. But my love of long and short form speculative fiction sometimes tends to overrule them all. I joined Wikipedia mainly because I believe in the perpetuation of free information.

Oh and because I'd rather not clutter this page with any more banners here are few more points about me. I was born in MCMLXVIII. I believe in a woman's right to choose, and I believe in biological evolution. I'm an atheist who also defines himself as a secular humanist. I am conservative on crime but liberal on social issues, and I support the sensible application of nuclear power.
