Question

[edit]

Hey there, I am just wondering about what you mean when you say on your user page "Currently I am working on my masters degree in the History of Religion, my topic is the Armenian G. I. Gurdjieff and Gurdjieffian groups." Could you clarify it for me please. Thanks Aeuio 19:57, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's an interesting situation you are in. You probably know more about these groups than me.:) If you think that something should be changed on the G. page then I guess you'd be a good person for that. (There are some sections that could be better).
Concerning my sentence on my user page, to sum it up the main 2 points for you: 1) I tend to read and focus on books about Gurdjieff's ideas and not on documentaries and other wiseacrings on what is/did happen. and 2) I am not representing myself as some Gurdjieff expert (i got tired of being accused of this - I don't know where people get that from).
Anyhow, good luck with your thesis. Aeuio 20:17, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your suggestion about incorporating the criticism into the article sounds good but I don't think it can be done (especially with the "other views" section that's there). The criticism section creates a sort of a balance for the different views; and since no one is throwing a commotion about npov I'd rather just leave it alone. This is an article you worked on, it is now up for deletion. Ikip (talk) 18:43, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
