Pro-forma is the equivalent term in British English

- I tend to disagree, having just used it myself (as a UK citizen), on the basis of familiarity with the term, in response to one of those spam letters inviting me to contribute to a journal clearly not relevant to my interests. Pro-forma sounds a bit legalistic --Brian Josephson (talk) 10:40, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
